I have lived here for over a year and it's really hard to beat the location, square footage, and price in the area. Just a 10 minute walk to either the Navy Yard or the Wharf, but not paying the price to live in those areas. I have never had an issue with maintenance, staff, or the amenities. The gym is the only disappointment, but I have friends' gyms I can go use. Happily plan on renewing my lease.

Valo really puts people first. Exceptional experience. The staff is excellent, amenities are wonderful, and the location is perfect. I love my home.

I wanted to send a quick note of thanks to DJ For taking care of a few things happening in my apartment in a short amount of time! He is always quick to respond and make sure his projects get carried out all the way through. He is good about keeping me informed about how long something will take, when he will get to it, etc. I truly appreciate his communication and follow-through!

I have lived in 1600 16th street for 18 months, and enjoyed my stay so far. I worked until 7 pm daily so the overall noise is only about the traffic on 16th street. The neighborhood is lively and energic.

I've lived at 3801 for 4 years and have loved it. Great masonry building - very quiet, with large rooms and plenty of closet space. The property is located between the Cleveland Park and Van Ness Metro stations with everything one could need within walking distance. There is a parking garage under the building and there are always spaces available for rent. Front desk and front office staff are terrific and provide great service in collecting, accounting for and urging pick-up of a HUGE number of packages. Maintenance is virtually immediate and generally effective on the first visit. I have met folks in the building who have lived here 30, 40 and even 50 years. That says a lot about this building.

Lived here for years, Love Rennel! She has been so supportive and helpful over the years. Also all of the maintenance staff is the best!

I've lived in twin oaks for 16 years. I moved out because i bought a condo. Living there has been a wonderful experience --the staff are friendly; maintenance timely, and while the neighborhood can be lively and loud, once you are inside you apartment, you can't hear anything your neighbors in their units. The location can't be beat either. I really missed the place.
