I’ve been living here for 5 years and I’ve always had any issues taken care of and the staff is really great! I would recommend them to anyone. One thing I wish they could change is the location of the trash dumpster. It’s very unsightly to see trash as soon as you come into the complex. Other than that it’s a great place to stay!!’

I relocated from AZ and was looking for affordable rent worthy properties. Mt Zion to me is centrally located. The maintenence and grounds persons keep this place in order. The property management team has helped when needed. I feel safe and cozy in my new environment. This place could use some upgrades for sure, but Park @ Mt Zion fits our budget , until we buy our first home.

Renter's guide to Morrow, GA

Morrow is a small suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, located in Clayton County. With a population of just over 7,000 and an area of only 3.4 sq. miles, it's one of Atlanta's smallest suburbs. However, it packs a lot into its borders and proudly boasts an array of institutions, both old and new, including the Clayton State University and the Reynolds Nature Preserve.

Although small, Morrow is larger than neighboring Lake City, which has a population of 2,612 and an area just shy of 2 sq. miles. Compared to Atlanta however, Morrow is almost 40 times smaller in terms of area, and almost 60 times smaller in terms of population.

As you stroll through the hilly streets of Morrow's tree-lined residential areas, you could be forgiven for thinking that you're far from the big city. In fact, Morrow is just over 13 miles away from downtown Atlanta. Interstate 75 passes through the south part of the city, giving quick and easy access to Atlanta in the north and the state of Florida to the south, with Tampa around 450 miles away.

Morrow has a mostly warm and humid climate: hot summers and mild winters, plus above average levels of rainfall, with 52 inches compared to 39 nationally. On average, you can expect around 94 rainy days per year and 216 sunny days. Temperatures typically reach a high of around 90°F in July and a low of 32°F in January. Spring is the wettest season, with rainfall reaching up to 7 inches in March. Fall is generally drier, and October sees half that amount of rain, on average.

Tips for renting in Morrow, GA

While the state of Georgia does have a strict code in place to protect the rights of both tenants and landlords, there are some things to be aware of, so make sure to do some research. Also, it's extremely important to do market research to get an idea of what is a fair rental price in your preferred area.

Keep in mind that prices might vary depending not only on the area, but also on what the property has to offer. Make a list of all the amenities you require and invest time and effort into choosing your next home.

Things for renting

This is balanced by the more urban areas of the city, particularly in the south, where you will find shopping centers, restaurants, cinemas, and everything else you might need, all just a short drive away. To the north, you'll find the Clayton State University campuses, lending the city something of a college town vibe.

However, there's not much nightlife within the city, and revelers will most likely need to make the trip downtown to enjoy a wider range of clubs and bars.
